Brett had a very exciting time starting 2nd grade. He has a brand new teacher who I was a little nervous about until I found out she was hand recruited by his 1st grade teacher Mr. Holly. She is very exciting and enthusiastic and he says everything is great.
Alex on the other hand felt that the day was extremely long and could not understand why now that he is in kindergarten he can't already read. I mean duh--aren't you supposed to be able to read in kindergarten. He was very upset when he realized his assumption was wrong. He did decide that he may be able to handle kindergarten if he is able to buy hot lunch. He thinks that is pretty cool and begged for the entire first week for me to go put money in his account once he memorized his school number. (Greg had his nasal septum fixed and his "tumor" taken out of his nose so we were a little slow doing the extra things that first week of school.)
Logan has been missing his brothers. When he wakes up in the morning he usually wanders around the house asking "Where my guys?"
